The symptoms are the same with both type 1 and 2 diabetes, in general the patient doesn´t show as many symptoms with type 2 diabetes and it might not be as obvious. Please note that below symptoms don´t necessary mean that diabetes is a fact, there might be other reasons. Below is just guidelines, and tips. Also, it doesn´t mean you have all the symptoms at the same time. If unsure, please immediately contact health care.
- Excessive thirst
- Frequent urination
- Extreme fatigue
- Dizziness
- Weight loss
- Blurry vision
- Bruises/cuts heals slowly
- Nausea and vomiting
- Stomach pain
- Headache
- Kussmaul respiration, hyperventilation
- Acetone smell on the breath
- Itching in genitals and mouth
