Dr. Diana Betancourt is a leading type 2 diabetes researcher, known for her pioneering work on the causes of the disease and potential treatments. She holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Betancourt’s research focuses on the molecular mechanisms that lead to insulin resistance and beta cell dysfunction, key features of type 2 diabetes.
